We stayed at the Lamanai Outpost Lodge in Lamanai, Belize. We were in cabana #10, which was closest to a resident family of black howler monkeys. The male cries to announce his territory and to attract a female and can be heard several kilometres away; this one woke us up many times over several nights. It was also a treat to watch the young ones scamper around and feed during the day.
