Rainforest deforestation is caused by several factors including logging, cattle ranching, and agriculture. Indigenous people have had their land stolen by companies and governments and receive nothing in return. They move around following roads crated by companies doing the logging and clearning and find other land in the rainforest to cultivate. Due to poor soil and agriculture practices, the value of cash crops goes down after a few years causing the people to move again.
